I used their delivery service twice and was happy with it, but today I was stood up after being told they would be here "in 3 hours or we will call you".

It didn't happen. It's been 4.5 hours and they are not answering my calls on either cell. Apparently they don't feel the need to give a care about their clients. Perhaps potheads should contract out their deliveries.

I found another pot delivery service and I'm going to try them. They can't be any worse and they are far cheaper.

I visited in the last week of February and they are closing in March 2010 due to an injunction by the city. They must close while fighting the injunction in court. It seems this happens to any club that opens in Contra Costa. It looks like the local law enforcement and city administrations do not respect Prop 420 or 215. I've seen it happen to at least four other dispensaries that have opened over the last few years including Concord and Pleasant Hill. Lafayette still has an outright ban on dispensaries, contrary to the laws.

I live no more than aquarter mile from C3 and would much rather make a drive into S.F. !!! I have been in 4 times and have only once made a purchase because of a bridge closure. At C3 I got an 1/8th of B grade weed that would be 35/40 at other clubs because they don't consider all weed " A" grade! For 60 bucks in the city I get a fat 1/8th of Grade A weed and a half gram of some very high quality, melty, tasty hash!!! The Green Door is always my first stop in SF followed by the vapor room and the love shack.

C3 is a truly weak club with way too many pointless rules/requirements, very high prices for the quality, and a staff that seems like they read one issue of high times and they are now know it all weed snobs!!!

Seriously avoid this club......unless you have no other options a drive into S.F. is best, followed by some clubs in Berkeley and Oakland. C3 tries to candy coat a turd and call it a gourmet dessert!

I am pretty new to the club scene in California. Ive been to 3 different dispensaries so far. C3 being one of the 3.

The one great thing about the club is the staff. They are friendly. The lacking part of the club is the prices are way to high and the bud is not so good.!!! If your paying more than 50 per 8th your getting ripped off. Ive seen in my handful of visits a couple really good strains. The rest medium grade to shitty. Hash at 55 per gram is just plain stupid... If they have it.

I only us C3 as a back up/last resort club.

Insensitive dicriminators and insensitive selective discriminators. I was pleased that there was a medicinal cannabis cooperative in Walnut Creek, where I make my home.

My brief pleasant journey there abruptly became unwelcoming. Although I have been a member of other, longer established Bay Area medicinal marijuana cooperatives for the past seven years, although I reside in Walnut Creek l though I did present my Medicann photo ID in compliance with Cal. H&S Cd 11362.5, which we all possess and would all presume to be sufficient.

Which have always proven to be sufficient everywhere else in the past seven years for myself and all of us, I was denied access and entry to C3. I had my original prescription with the raised seal, and my card but still no entry. C3 wanted something with my address. I returned the next day with my card, my prescription and an article of US mail addressed to me at my Walnut Creek house, sent from the County of San Mateo County Government clerk's office. Good enough? Not for C3. Not for me to get in. Sure, I saw others recieve rudimentary scrutiny and then receive hospitality and welcome as they were politely ushered inside. What was my difference? Is it that I am young, 23 years old, and black? My recommendation would be that you do NOT waste your time and go to this club. From a scale from 1 to 10. I would give it a -3! I have been to clubs all across California and never have been denyed with my Club card or Doc. reccommendation.

The first time I was in there I was dissapointed by the bud selction, which was back in September.

Thought I would give it a second chance and went in again. To my suprise I was greeted by all the friendly staff felt very welcomed. Place seems neat and inviting. I ended up purchasing a keif brownie and was very pleased with it. Their bud selection had imporved drastically since my last visit, lots of good juicy strains.

Living in Walnut Creek, I am glad I dont have to go through the tunnel and most likely sit through traffic. Thanks C3!

Lol, man I dont know what put homie over the edge but I didnt think this place was that bad at all.
They have about 10-12 strains now and I think prices are finally capped at 55 so thats nice.(Although I wish the $50 capped Top-Shelf would come back) I was able to pick from 3 bags all super frosty soo looks like their goin in the right direction. Ended up gettin some razpbery and some querkle that was nothing short of savory, a little airy but bomb..

The Staff was hella cool, and accommodations while waiting were comfortable. Just FYI though, if you dont have your original doc's rec and an ID on your first visit, they wont let you in. All said and done ill be back.

Been a handful of times and they have yet to figure it out. It seems as if they stick a lying, used car salesman at the counter for budtender. First I time I went turned out to be a 50 minute wait with 3 people in there because they couldn't figure out how to ring someone up on their laptop. Then the second customer steps up to the table, and they cannot scan their bud or their hand made joint that are just trash (poorly constructed and doesn't have the "claimed' bud that they say its filled with). Finally me being the third patient in there I walk up purchase an 1/8th for 62 dollars and some change. Got home opened my bag and noticed the sac they gave me had tiny loose nugs along with bare stems in there for weight. I was disgusted that they truly have zero respect for their patients to do that!

Second time I go in I notice they have my favorite strain "Blackberry Kush" as I go to look the bud doesn't have the smell nor underlying deep black(purple) veins. I continue to look at their other buds which are deliberately misnamed/labeled for marketing purposes I ask him what made this blackberry and he remains quiet to ignore me confirming he knew it wasn't as either. Just stood there with a confused look, to add another thought they were trying to charge you 72 dollars out of the door for an 1/8th.

They don't have a clue they have probably the worst buds in the eastbay valley, and their prices are constantly changing (such as if they have to accommodate for excessive fines or bad profit days). Buds are terribly handled, trimmed, and all popcorn nugs and literally stems. Either way I would definitely drive 10 more minutes through the tunnel and hit Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward for groups/caregivers who actually have a clue and maintain strains and are knowledgeable.

Weak Buds at a high price!! The majority of what they have is mid grade outdoor being sold at indoor premium prices with no apologies. The hash and edible selection are non existant/ very limited, and the people behind the counter act like everything they have is "THE SHIT!"

If you are totally hard up and have no other options c3 is ok. So bummed C3 is taking rookie shortcuts and pretending that they are doing things right. C3 needs to get much better weed and sell it at reasonable prices!

Just checked out this club for the first time yesterday. They had a large selection of everything which was nice. Their location could not be better for those of us in the Tri-Valley. I guess the only two complaints I think most people will have about this place is the poorly grown weed they sell. Don't get me wrong it does the job nicely, but like someone else mentioned, if you want nice chunky nugs don't shop hear. If you want bags that weigh and get you medicated nicely though, C3 works. My only other complaint was the prices. They seem a little expensive and it doesn't sit well when you see a brand new Mac set up in the lobby and then a Mac running the cash register. At first glance they appear to have about 6K in computer equipment in this little store. Is that why my half ounce cost what it did, I hope not...

They have a very nice facility that has been freshly painted and fully renovated from what I can tell and they did a really great job, the place looks very nice. It was easy to find and easy to get to, they also have a parking lot that is well marked with their spots.

I was first greeted outside the door by a gentleman who was very nice. He asked if I was a return or first time…I indicated first time and he radioed me in. I was then greeted by another nice gentleman that took all of my necessary patient credentials and asked that I read and sign one of their in-take forms while he verified my patient status and entered me into their computer. It’s your basic acknowledgment form indicating their rules and guidelines to be followed by all Patients. Once all was completed I was told I could go to the next room.

Before you enter the Selection Room they have a board they write on that has the day’s specials or any Menu selections available. They had Bubble Hash $35, Supper Bubble $50; Shake $80 for a ½ Oz and $150 for an Oz and $35 8th Special Super Silver Haze. They had 3 different edibles and they broke up their Indica’s with 4 selections and 5 Sativa’s. These are what were written on the board before I walked into the room where the Bud Tender is. They had the Strains NYC Diesel, Sour Diesel, UK Cheese, Amsterdam Big Bud and Chocolate O and it was $310 to $390 for an Oz and $160 to $200 a ½ Oz based on the Strain selection. Now…again all of these were written on the board before I enter.

Once I got into the room I had to sit and wait my turn which was not long at all, very nice room. Once it was my turn I found the Bud Tender to be very nice and knowledgeable. I also found they had a lot more selections then the board indicated outside. Each bud selection was in a small clear container that was well marked. They allow you to look, open and smell. Not touch of course but you’re able to view the medicine very well. I asked for the Super Silver Haze special and the Bud Tender was kind enough to break it up so I got Big Bud and NYC Diesel.

The NYC Diesel was as I always expect it to be so there was no disappointment. Big Bud was very good too. Both selections had nice trimmed buds that were not Rolled or Keifed in anyway and they were both nice and fresh. I give C3 5 Stars for sure as their facility, staff and selections and price were all outstanding. It’s nice to see a class place in operation here on the East Bay. I highly recommend them to all my friends as they are truly welcomed into my neighborhood. They even have a great website that has their menu selections and very informative with I think is a plus. Anytime they can provide an on line menu from a dispensary the better. I see C3 is already ahead of the game then most and has the Patient’s interests in mind.

I went to this club for the second time. First time was when they first opened and only had 3 strains. Checked out the website and saw they have alot more strains now. Don't let this place fool you. Yeah it is a nice clean building with a nice set up as far as jars of medicine on the counter for you to look at and smell. All the cannabis in the jars was poorly grown and poorly manicured. Very stemmy weed. No smell to any of the 10 or so different strains. Some of the strains even looked and smelled the same but had different names. No big juicy stinky dense buds here. Just popcorn buds.Very stemmy buds obvisiously grown by rookies.

The people who run this place are not here to help their paitents like thay say they do on the news or in the paper. This place is all about buying poorly grown weed most likely grown buy rookies in their closet and slapping a name on it to get people to buy it. Such a joke at this place. Oh did i mention its $65 out the door for these so called top shelf meds. When you do pick out a strain you want ask the budtender to let you see it first before he puts it in a blue lunch bag and trys to staple it shut. This is what happened to me. I made my choice and the budtender (who knew nothing about the strains other than "indica" or "sativa") reaches into a bin with all the bud in it and stuffs my cannabis in a blue lunch bag and staples it shut. He then trys to hand it to me and tell me my total. Lol nice try. I open the bag to find nothing but small popcorn buds and a fat stems. I tell the budtender i want a different bag. He says you get what we give you,No picking yourself. Lol get out of here. Im paying for the product that means i get to pick what sack i want. At least put 2-3 sacks out on the counter and let me pick from those 2-3. Some people want big juicy buds and some want smaller buds. But it is up to us the paitent and buyer to choose what we want.

My advice is spend a few bucks on bart or just drive to oakland where your sure to get those nice juicy stinky buds. Oh yeah did i mention that c3 tumbles their weed before they sell it to the paitent.Yes they do tumble it knocking of good amount of trichomes which they more than likely keep for themselves. Walnut creek needs to shut this place down and keep fining these amateurs. These guys in their suits and ties trying to be all professional. C3 looks good on the website. Once you get in there its a sad sad dispensary. Selling meds that are 100% not the strain they claim it is. C3 claims its here for us the paient but they are here for one reason and one reason only. Greed.

Opening the newspaper I see an article, something about how walnut creek officials were citing C3 a marijuana dispensary on zoning laws. Instantly I mapped C3, got directions, was in my car and on my way to location. My girlfriend and I both have docs rec's so she is accompanying me. Located right across the street from planned parenthood, C3 collective stares us down. We walked to the front door and are greeted very warmly, cracking a couple jokes along the way. Walk in to the club which is a renovated house, very clean. The place was pretty empty, only one other patient was there.

We get the dispensary clerk after a minute or two, to our surprise only six strains, all pretty decent looking. We grab dieselwrek and head out. (dieselwrek *****) Presentation and friendly customer service brought me back for several more visits. They have alot more than six strains now, edibles, hash and my favorite pre-rolls. The convenience of just needing a lighter is exceptional. C3 saves me gas and waiting in line. Overall great experience! Thx C3.

I just visited C3 in Walnut Creek after reading the bad review someone gave it and wanted to see for myself. I am not sure what happened for the guy and why he had such a bad experience, but I had the complete opposite experience. I walked up and a guy came out the front door to greet me with a smile and was very friendly. He did ask me for my original prescription so thank you for mentioning that. However, once you give them your paperwork and your ID they put you in the system and all you need is your California ID. So you don't even need your Medicann card after that. As for the cameras "in your face", every club I have ever been to has cameras everywhere and they should. They are practically sitting ducks for getting robbed with nothing but pot and cash on-site so get over it. I didn't even notice any cameras and I was expecting them to be "in my face" after what I read.

Once inside I was greeted by another extremely friendly face and they scanned my info into the system and offered me a seat on a comfy couch in a very nice waiting area while they got me all set up. I was then escorted back to the room with the goods and again met another extremely friendly face who showed me their selection. They had about 8-10 varieties which is slim but they just opened a couple weeks ago and are still getting going. The guy told me they are building up their stock and will have more selection soon. They aren't the cheapest I have ever seen but not bad. I picked up an 1/8 for $50 and even got to examine it under a lighted magnifying glass which was very cool. Total time inside was 10-15 minutes and that was only because it was my first time and they needed to get me set up in their system (which didn't take very long, I probably spent more time looking at bud under the magnifying glass). I would highly recommend this place and I hope they stay around.

I was told only the original doctor's recommendation was accepted. I called Medicann and they said C3 was uneducated about the laws and was not part of Medicanns program. Wish they had more strains when I went. You can get grams here also if you dont want an 1/8. All 3 strains were high grade. I got the one for $50 total and was satisfied.
