The Patients Care Collective that is being reviewed on this page has the opposite of the young, "street" vibe Adam described. Thank you for the review Adam! They are extremely professional, small, and remind one of a cannabis boutique. They only deal in high grade, and it's cash only. Go for the jar, although it's 1 per customer. You'll know what I'm referring to. All their bud is top notch, and it goes left to right, from couch-locking indicas to clear mental sativas. Their kief is so-so, and the Cold-Water hashes are sometimes excellent, but overpriced in my opinion. Shiva crystals are a regular and very potent. Oils here are expensive, but will send you to the moon. Sometimes they get some interesting combination extracts like "goo balls", which is a gram of a varying type of dank bud sprayed with its own hash oil and rolled in its own kief until it's a half eighth (so ~.7 of oil and kief). Unfortunately, those are the same price as an eighth. This is like the Whole Foods of dispensaries, so hold back or you will spend your whole paycheck.

BPCC is one of my favorite dispensary's. I always like to stop by when I am in Berkeley. Lots of head shops in walking distance to check out when in the area. They always have something unique that you may not see at other dispensaries.

Always something good here. Friendly staff and a mom-and-pop vibe. I can also attest that the reviewer who thought he was at Berkeley Patient's Care Collective when he saw a band setting up must have been mistaken about where he was. This place is small!

I'm a first time visitor and new to the club experience. Here are my impressions.

1. The guard out front was far from friendly. Not sure if this really matters, but it was kind of disconcerting.

2. The place is not relaxed. A band was setting up and sound checking in the other room, and people were hurriedly moving about. This place is a beehive. I was hoping for mellow?

3. I found my way to the sell room. I waited in a line for about 5 mins to see the product. I chatted with a person and both of us were new and fairly off put by the frenzied vibe of the place, but it was fun to take in.

4. The "Budtender" (man, I feel lame for typing that) was a super nice young dude. I asked what kind of feeling I wanted to treat my issue and I explained what I found works best for me. He then explained variants of the different brands.

I picked some stuff, paid him with my card, and walked out. So I was a bit off put by the frenzied feeling. This just may be a Berkeley dynamic or I caught them at an insane rush? I don't know. I guess the place had a "street" vibe? This can be cool or intimidating, all depending on your personality. Do with that what you will.

I will say this, the product is top notch and high grade. Great variations, weighed correctly and thus far, exceptional in potency. I'm very happy on that front. So yeah, I'd go back, but I'm looking around some more.

I was told to wait at the curb by a rude guard. My letter was flagged because a doctor's license was revoked. I will not be back, the rude pigs of security guards stuffing their faces told me, "We're eating. Wait over there." He points to the curb! I'm taking my biz elsewhere! I am not happy!

I've been to this dispensary twice, and had a good experience both times, so they deserve a good rating. I will use this club again. And I would recommend this club to others. I've been to a lot of dispensaries just to check em out.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Quick - parking was easy, and once inside, no wait or line to the bud room.

Once in the inner sanctum, you'll see a nice selection. The day's offerings are in a glass display case - well lit and easy to see everything. BOCC carries Butter Brothers edibles - and they had cannabutter.

The only improvement this club could make is to lower their bud prices a bit...they always seem to be a bit on the high side. Hopefully prices will drop since this year's crop is rumored to be good. We'll see.

If you're in the east bay or contemplating a trip anywhere near the Berkeley ghetto, it's worth it to check this place out.

With my usual place closed down.. Darn that DEA I ended up trying this place. Tons of choices. Nice people. Little crowded when I went due to the recent closure I am sure. Worth a trip.

As a first timer to this club it was nice to have helpful people with good attitudes at check in and at the counter. The guy behind the counter gave me a lot of good info on which items gave which benefits. I'm happy with what I purchased. Very happy.
