SSDP Regional Conference To Co-align With ASA Strategy Session

By Students for Sensible Drug Policy
Published March 20, 2009

Students for Sensible Drug Policy, one of the premier student organizations in the country, and one dedicated to ending the War on Drugs, is having their West Coast Regional Conference on the weekend of April 25th and the 26th in Berkeley, California.

In coordination with that conference, ASA will be having a California Strategy Session, where chapter leaders and members from throughout California will gather to engage in 2 days of strategy for the future of California's medical cannabis law.

The groups will take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen the connection among our members and activists, and ASA welcomes the opportunity to bring up-and-coming SSDP activists into the fold. The guidelines issued by the California Attorney General and the recent White House statements about the change in federal interference in medical cannabis states have created a need for a renewed strategy, and this is the time! Information on registration for both events will be included in next week's Alert.

Watch an awesome preview of the West Coast Regional conference here and then register for the Conference here!
